How to Apply Mascara

Start at the root of the lash and wiggle the wand side to side before sweeping upward — this deposits the most product at the base where it counts and lifts the lash from the root. For volume, apply two to three coats, letting each dry slightly before the next. For length, use a single coat with a slow, deliberate upward stroke. To avoid clumping, wipe excess product from the wand on a tissue before applying. If you want to curl your lashes, use a lash curler before mascara, never after — applying heat or pressure to a coated lash can cause breakage.
